I’m coming back from the deep dark abyss — also known as a body snatching virus that took over my life for almost two weeks.
It wasn’t pretty. So I’m glad to be back! And I have two fun sessions to share this week :) But in the meantime I figured it’s about time I announce the date for my next photography class! So far I’m planning that this will be my LAST class taught for 2011. If I’m just overwhelmed with interest (go ahead, overwhelm me ;)) then we’ll talk about a possible second date :D
So you ready for the details?
Beginners Photography Class
Saturday, July 9th from 6:30-8:30p.m. at a park in Provo
Details:
Teaching will be 100% HANDS ON. I demonstrate all of the material we cover with a model to SHOW you exactly how I do what I do. All class members are encouraged to bring their cameras to PRACTICE what we are talking about right then and there.
I have also prepared an in-depth power point presentation that covers everything we will talk about in our two-hour class. Attendees will have exclusive access to my slides after the event for future reference and learning.
We will cover:
Light, light, light.
How to take better photos on ANY camera, ANY time of day.
Top five ways to use light to create impressive images
Photography myths uncovered
Quick posing tips guaranteed to make anyone look great
Taking your candid photography to the next level
The do’s and dont’s of composition
Please note: This particular class will not cover how to use your camera manually (since it is also open to point and shoot cameras), or how to start a photography business. We will also not be talking about anything related to editing pictures or post-processing
This class will be full when we reach 10 students, so CLICK HERE to register! All you have to do is fill out the 5 short questions then click on the pay now button to pay via Paypal :) One week prior to the class I will email you with the details of our location.
I promise it will be a lot of fun — a great chance to make new friends and practice and learn all at the same time :)
And because, what is a post without a picture? Here is one from an engagement session last week:
