Bun in the oven!

As I was editing the photos from this fun (and HOT) maternity session, I got to thinking of the ways people announce their pregnancy to the world.
I had a cousin who took a picture of a hamburger bun sitting inside an oven and posted it on the family blog. That was it. Just a picture. And I will be the first to admit that I totally didn’t catch on until I said out loud “why would they post a picture of a bun in an oven?” Saying it out loud helped … ;)
With my first we were lucky enough to be three months along just in time for Christmas. As we were expecting the first grandchild for both of our families we knew we had to make it special :) So for Christmas we wrapped up grandparents picture frames with our due date listed where the picture would go.
That was pretty fun.
Anyone else have any creative ways to share the happy news?
Tammy, this lovely mom-to-be, took vinyl lettering that said “I’m Pregnant!!” and stuck it on her shirt. On Christmas Eve, with the whole family gathered together she casually removed her jacket and as soon as the happy news was noticed, the usual female screaming/jumping up and down combo ensued :) :) Babies are definetly something to be excited about :)
Well, with only a month left Tammy was a super trooper in the screaming hot weather. Not only that but she looks fabulous! Thanks Tammy and Patrick! I can’t wait to meet your beautiful daughter in a few weeks :)
